I wanted to use rose petals bowling alley style down the aisle, but the quotes I have been getting are around $300. I was looking at the silk petals, but I'm not using any silk flowers anywhere else. Do you think it will look okay? I could get the same level of thickness I want for $60-80 with the silk but I'm worried it will look cheap too.

Re: silk petals?
I don't really think anyone is going to stoop down and inspect the petals....maybe if it were centerpieces.
But I say go for it!!!

Exactly my thoughts, I doubt anyone will notice them as being fake. Plus then you don't have to worry about staining the floors!

No one will even notice. But, what is bowling alley style?

I don't think it will look cheap at all. I highly doubt any one is going to be paying that much attention to the petals on the floor - they'll be looking at you!!!!

I want the petals to look like gutters down the sides, and I guess I'm the ball rolling down the middle. I didn't know how else to describe it!

Re: silk petals?
We just got our silk petals in the mail and they look great! We chose 3 different colors to accent the African Violet color (our main color). We are also using them for people to throw when we walk down. We bought them from here and they arrived 4 days later. HTH!
