My mom cannot get hers off...I've never had tips so I am off no help. She soaked them in nail polish and has been trying really hard to get them off. Any tips?
I usually just go to the nail salon and have them do it for me. Even though you have to pay, its worth it (IMO) because they do it right and less damage to your nails.

you need to soak in acetone. Tell her to go to the nail place to have them removed. They charge for it, but it is better than trying to do it yourself and damaging your nails.
