Silk Wraps

Does anyone have them on their nails? Do you like them? I am debating if I want them or not.

Yes I have them! When I don't have them wrapped they break constantly! I love it.

Are they easy to maintain?

I got mine taken off about two weeks ago and my nails are horrible. They are so soft and break very easily and I only had the wraps on since my wedding which was in November.

They are somewhat easy to maintain. For me at least, I get a full set, then a gel/blue manicure two weeks later, then two weeks after that I get a half wrap and then 2 weeks after another glue/gel and then after 2 months, I soak and get a new set or let my nails be natural. If I let them go without wraps after wearing wraps for a while, I have my manicurist cut them really short and just shape them. They ARE thinner after you take the wraps off (constant filing thins them down) but if you have them cut a little shorter, they are a little thicker closer to the finger

If you are hard on your nails, silk wraps are really good.

I have them too. You have to go every two weeks for fill ins. Like someone else said, every two months you get a new set. I am a terrible nail biter so this is a must for me. I love having them. I have never had a problems with them. I know you are local to me, so if you want info on where I go, FM me.

If you do decide to take them off, you real nails underneath will be weak and paper thin. It takes them awhile to get them strong again.
