SILLY BRIDAL SHOWER QUESTIONS

My bridal shower was March 1st yayyy!! Surprise to me! Hopefully I will get pics from BP because I didnt take any. Anyway, I got great stuff but now I have some questions as far as Thank Yous.

Do I address the card to the woman only who was there? Almost all of the cards only had the woman's name on it, even if she was married.

and

How specific do I get with the Thank Yous? 'Thank you so much for sharing this special day with me I can't wait to use my mixer?' or just leave it as 'Thank you so much for sharing the day with me and the generous gift?'

Silly questions, I know but I just have no idea lol.

Oh and FYI if no one knew this apparently your supossed to give a penny to someone who buys your knives. I thought it was a joke for good luck or something so I just laughed it off, now I need to send a penny to my cousin in her thank you card.

I addressed my bridal shower thank yous to the person who attended the shower and I was specific about the gift given.

'Thank you so much for sharing the day with me and the generous gift?' - is more appropriate for your wedding thank yous.

Never knew that about the knives - interesting tidbit!

I would only send the thankyou to the person who came. I wrote each person a different message b/c I am a card ****! Also, the penny thing I heard too and I went into my bag at mine and gave my aunt the penny right there. I dont know why you do this either but all the older ladies were screaming give her a penny!

i think its bad luck to give sharp objects. i know my mom always yelled at me about NOT giving friends pens, pins, etc. something like its bad luck that it will sever/ruin the friendship. so maybe the penny is a way to make it okay. lol.

I personally addressed the TY to whoever signed the card.. most were just the women, but if they specifically signed their card from both of them then I addressed the TY the same way.

Definitely specific for shower TY's, general for wedding TY's..
