silly floral garland post
Ok this sounds like soemthing SO SILLY and miniscule and doesnt even merit a post but I have to anyway because Im pleased and someone else might find it helpful.
I am making my cardbox out of a wooden planter. Going to make a slot top and paint the whole thing white. So I thought hmm what can i do to decorate? I went to the DOLLARTREE to look at garlands but they only had roses or ivy. So I thought and then found a small gerbera bush-looks like a hand-tied bo-k without the ribbon. Comes with like 7 flowers. Anyway, what i did was remove all the roses from the garland and replaced them with the gerber daisy heads from the bushel. I alternated pink and orange and theyy look AWESOME! I tried wrapping tham up through the slats on the watering can and its going to look really good. My MOh already stole two flowers lol to wear in her hair day of.
To make two 'custom garlands,' cost me a grand total of 3 bucks.
O FYI! If anyone needs those battery operate dpaper lanterns, DOLLAR TREE has them! usually they retail like 7-10 bucks per lantern. Here they are a buck. Get em while you can! They also have those lawn torches that look like tiki torches, if anyone needs em.
