We are starting to put the invitations together but we're stuck on something very little and silly.
Ok- we only have an OUTTER envelope. We didnt do an inner one. So inside the envelope, we have the invitation, the rsvp card, rsvp envelope and the direction card. Being that we don't have an inner envelope-I'm afraid to put the rsvp card lose inside. Should I put the rsvp card inside the return envelope or do I keep it lose inside the invitation-even though we don't have the inner envelope??? The invitation has a ribbon tied around it. So i was planning on slipping everything inside that ribbon-so it won't be completely lose. I know it's a silly question but if anyone can tell me what you are doing- it would be very helpfuL!!!!!
P.S: I'm afraid that if I put it inside the return envelope- that someone might not look at it right away and not know when it needs to be returned by.

Re: Silly Invitation Question...
What about you slip the card under the flap of the return envelope? I think I might do this when I send mind out and put it all in the inner envelope.

that is what we are doing as well
we are only having an outer envelope and then have:
invitation rsvp card w/ envelope direction card (no reception card -- we're getting married at our hall)

Re: Silly Invitation Question...
I'm def. slipping the rsvp card , envelope, and direction card in the ribbon tied around- to keep it from falling everywhere (since we only have one envelope). But I'm not sure if I should put the rvsp card in the rsvp envelope or leave that loose. Are you guys putting the rsvp card lose in your envelope OR putting it in the rsvp envelope and then lose in your envelope?

I misread what you wrote originally and didnt understand... I think thats our best option. That way it's not entirely loose inside but it's not all the way inside where people might not see it right away! Good call.

We are tucking the rsvp card under the flap of the envelope but not in it entirely. we are then just putting it in loose.
