Re: Silly question

I believe a matron of honor is someone who is married and a maid is someone who is not.. Am i correct?

Correct! Matrons are married, maid is not married.

Matrons can also be unmarried, but older than the bride.

Re: Silly question

I ask b/c I want to ask my cousin to be my maid of honor (I'm closer to her) and my sister to be my matron of honor(she's 30) we are not so close. Is that ok?
