I keep my receipts, contracts, notes, etc. in a binder that I bought (a wedding planner book), but I don't really use it for purposes other than keeping things organized. MY FH thinks this make me a 'bridezilla' (his mother works in the business and she has the same thoughts). What does everyone use to stay organized if not a binder?? I told him this is normal, right?

Don't worry, you are normal . . . well, as normal as the rest of us at least!

Re: Silly Question
my fsil bought me one, she used one and said it was the best thing ever-- i like it, its keeping all my info together and lets me know when i have a payment due, and keeps my info for potential things i might want. so i dont think its a bridzilla thing.

Re: Silly Question
I still have my wedding binder
one part has all my receipts, contracts & paperwork the other has all the pics I tore out of magazines & printed from websites to find the stuff I wanted.

Re: Silly Question
Yes it is completely normal. As a matter of fact, my FH is the one that made the folder for me, to keep everything organized. You are not a bridezilla because of it, unless that makes all the rest of us organized people bridezillas also

Re: Silly Question
I told him it was very normal and a great organizer and he should ask any women that he works with what they used. Guranteed they all say a binder!!! Just venting - I don't like being called a Bridezilla, b/c I am the farthest thing from it.

Re: Silly Question
I don't think there's anything wrong with staying organized. When I started going to bridal shows I got thrown so many business cards and pamphlets ect. and I just thought it'd be easier to keep track of everything (especially when the receipts start rolling in) to have everything in one place. In fact I made a wedding binder for my friend who recently got engaged w/ folders for loose items, business card holder and dividers. She loved it! So no, I don't think you're a bridezilla at all.

Re: Silly Question
I most certainly have a binder!! If I did not have 1 organized place to store all my contracts, paperwork, vendor business cards, and pics I've ripped out of magazines...I'd go nuts!!!! You are NOT a bridezilla! You are organized.

Re: Silly Question
Another bride with a binder here
Wow- If FMIL is in the business and thinks that, I cannot even image what she would think of me. In addition to the binder, I also have a notecard system. I have a card for each vender (with phone #) and also for each task I want to accomplish (e.g. research rose petals). I carry them in my purse so that if I have a thought while out and about, I can jot it down and not forget (and so I can make calls if I have to while at work). I also write down all my conversation with venders on them. I must be a MAJOR bridezilla!
