What is an appropriate time to get up, shower, etc if you're staying at someone's house??? I know it sounds funny, but I always feel like we're oversleeping at my inlaws, but I don't want to be awake and walking around their house if they're not up either...

It's not a silly question. But I'd say it depends on what time your in-law's wake up. I'd say up and showered by 9/9:30 is a safe bet or 10:00 at the latest. Do you stay with them often? Because my parents are late sleepers - so us sleeping late doesn't bother them at all.

I never sleep late when I am away from home. I always get up really early for some reason. Sometimes even earlier than the people we're staying with... and when that is the case, that's when I shower.
