Silly Question

I want to post a picture of my invitation sample but I don't understand why girls on here black out their names when they post.
I don't know how to do that. Is it bad to post them with names?

I think people just black out their last names because everyone can read these threads, not just members and they don't want the whole world to know their names.

That's why I do it. As for how, either do it in photoshop or drop it into word and then insert a square/rectangle shape and turn it black. Export the whole thing again (if you're on a mac to 'preview', pc I don't know) and save it as a jpeg image.
