So on the morning of the wedding, is it customary to have your hair already prepped for the hair stylist (i.e. washed and blown)? I have pretty thick hair that I normally get blown out professionally on a regular basis and theres no way I'm doing it myself the day of the wedding.
Whats the situation here?

Re: Silly Question?
I work at a salon and we always tell cleints to come already dry for 'formal hair' or 'updos', if not there is an extra blowout charge. Not sure if your salon has the same pricing but you should ask your stylist. If your hair is thick i would def suggest getting it blown out the day before your wedding. HTH

Re: Silly Question?
curls should last even if u have clean hair. if they dont last , it means the person doing your hair doesnt know what theyre doing
thank you very much
bye

Re: Silly Question?
I am having my hair blown out the night before for my rehearsal dinner, then having them work with that for my updo the next day...

Re: Silly Question?
I usually get it blown out the night before. Such a pain and more money...but really the only option. Go somewhere cheap for the blow out...it doesnt need to be perfect. And when I say cheap...dont go to super cuts. They wanted to charge me $42 for a blow out!!

Re: Silly Question?
Ask your hair person. It depends on the hair person..some of them prefer working with clearn hair.

I'm doing the same thing, my MOH suggested it, she did the same for her wedding.

Re: Silly Question?
I think you have to have it washed and dried the night before if you're doing an updo so it would stay better.

Re: Silly Question?
ask the person doing your hair. all hair dresses i have ever used have requested different things.
i think most usually say having your hair dirty is best.

Re: Silly Question?
I'll definitely have to ask because im doing half updo, half down. So that's iffy...
