silly question about ceremony readings

silly question about ceremony readings

Does the bride give a copy of the readings to the readers (scripture and nonscripture readings) at the rehearsal? Is that what they use the day of? For example, does my friend carry the copy of her reading to the stand when she reads it at the ceremony?

I'm going to give my readers copies of what they are reading a few weeks in advance so they can practice.
As for the day of, my deacon told me that he will bookmark our readings at the rehearsal, and have it all set to go on the wedding day.

Both of our readers brought a copy of it up to the microphone w/ them. We emailed the readings to them a few weeks before the wedding so they could get familiar.

When I was a reader, I mounted the readings inside a pretty pressed flower cardstock folder I made and before the ceremony I was told to walk it up there and leave it on the podium

By the Way, I have 10 days to go and still have NOT chosen any of my readings... I'm totally stuck
