Silly question about tealength
Ok this may be silly but I was just thinking if my girls are wearing tealength dresses-will I still be able to get a swatch from the seamstress so that we can dye their shoes and show the florist?

that's not an uncommon request. i'm sure your seamstress would be happy to oblige.
I dont see why not, but you can also get a swatch from the dress designer.
Ok thanks so much. I was thinking I would have to switch to full length. I like to worry about stupid things. Thanks!
Well, I've heard of girls having tea length dresses that were not 'tea length' per say on everyone. They've had them ALL altered so that in pictures they all look like they are even. So maybe you can do something like that? but that seems extreme for just a swatch. I say get it from the manufacturer.
My BM's wore tea length and it was not very easy to get a swatch since they did not have to cut the bottom. They were able to cut some out from the seams for me b/c I needed swatched for my florist and to get the shoes dyed. Don't worry. The seamstress will find a way to get you a swatch.
