Do we pay for the vendors to eat or is that thrown in by the venue? Hope this makes sense

Yes, the vendors there all night. Photographers (and their assistants), videographers (and their assistants), photo booth attendant(s), DJ, MC, lighting tech (if you have one). My venue is 1/3 off the price for vendors AFTER our minimum is met. Kids are also 1/3 off.
Yes, our venue we have to pay full price for all vendors since we aren't using any of their preferred vendors (of course! lol). Otherwise, they would be 1/2 price.

Yes, my venue is half off vendors once minimum is met and it doesn't matter if they are preferred vendors or not but as you can see from the other ladies responses every place is different so it all depends

You usually have to pay a discounted price for their plate, some venues include it if you're using one of their preferred vendors.
I checked with my venue and we have yo pay for any vendor that stays the reception (half price only after I meet my minimum). Why can't they tell us this? If it weren't for this board, I'd be so embarrassed and short of money come wedding day
