Do you/did you use a Unity Candle at your ceremony? I did not ask the Rabbi and am curious.
Thanks!

Re: Silly question for Jewish Brides............
i am getting married in 6 weeks...met with my rabbi twice and he never mentioned a unity candle. I always thought that is was not a jewish tradition so i never brought it up. if it is something you want incorporated in your ceremony and have a reform rabbi he may be willing to let you have one, but traditionally no i dont think you have one at a jewish wedding

ITA. It's not a Jewish tradition... but if you want one, go for it.

We are having a mixed religion ceremony and are using a unity candle, doing the wine ceremony, and breaking the glass all under the chuppa

It is not a Jewsh tradition however, it is a tradition and so it can be done in a ceremony of any religion.
