Silly Question Re: Formal China

Ok, I feel like I should know this one ...

WHAT are the 5 pieces in the formal china place setting?!!

Do i need to register for the soup bowls separately, or are they PART of the 5 pieces?!

Thanks ladies

I believe it is the
1. dinner plate
2. salad plate
3. dessert plate
4. cups
5. saucers
I think you have to register for the soup bowls seperately.

Soup bowls are not included:

Dinner plate, salad plate, dessert plate, tea cup, saucer= 5 pieces!!

Dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, saucer, teacup

soup bowls are usually sep.

exactly!
but some places do bonus buys that they include a free soup bowl when you purchase a place setting - I know fortunoff does this off and on every month.

You ladies are THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only store that has my china is bloomies, and it NEVER goes on sale

My mom was telling me today that I don't need to register for the soup bowls separately b/c they are part of the 5 pcs. I almost took them off my registry.

BUT I knew to check with you ladies first, my super reliable source for information on everything!
