silly question regarding nails

i had UV permanent french manicure done for my wedding, some nails with wrap, some not (i'm not sure of the exact terminology...since i rarely get my nails done)....do i have to go to the nail salon to have them removed, or can i do it myself?

You don't Have to, but I would reccomend it - It will hurt a lot less and they will be able to sort of save your nails that you have left! Good Luck!!

they sell a nail soak in most cvs that you can use to take off the fake nails yourself- it works pretty well, but put a nail hardening polish on after you take the nails off

You are me 1 week ago! LOL! I soaked my nails in acetone for like 4 hours in 2 different sittings. Someone on here suggest I loosen them with a metrocard. Thank you. It worked. It took me forever though! But I was able to slide it under and loosen then and pop them off. Its not fun. And it feels weird! And damages the nails. Make sure you havea buffer and clear polish for them. Goodluck!

definitely go to the salon - it doesnt take long and it will hurt a LOT less

if you do it yourself it could take HOURS ( trust me, i know plus i actually ripped off parts of my OWN nail )

I strongly recommend going to a salon. Taking them off yourself can take a long time and if your nails get damaged in the process, it can take a few months for them to repair themselves.
