Ok ladies, what exactly do you mean by hand cancelling the invites at the post office? I'm lost... LOL

they will cancel the stamps by hand - so that they arent fed through the machines, which may ruin the envelopes.

I wish I would've known this prior to sending out my invites. One of my guests said when they received my invitation the envelope was ripped and the invitation was also a little ripped and smudged, probably from going through the machine. Meanwhile, I paid extra postage because they was a bulge that would cause them to not go through the machine properly. I am scared to think of who else got it like that.
My mom made my invitiations, they came out gorgeous so that really upset me!
