Silly Question - Where do you go for your Marriage License and

what do you need to bring?

We went to the town of Hempstead. I took my driver's lic & passport. DH took his drivers lic & birth cert. You can go to any town hall or county clerks office in NY.

Jen, we went to the Town of Babylon on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst. We both brought our SS cards and our license. We were the only ones there and it took about 15 mins if that.

When I called the TOwn of Islip to find out, she said we both have to go, bring our licenses and birth certificates, have our SS# handy and $40 cash or check.
