silly question...when you finalize the numbers at your hall and give your final payment, do you

drop off everything?? we are doing it on the 6th but have literally like 25 boxes of stuff to bvring over...where are they going to store it until the 16th??? shoudl we drop it off then like they asked or drop it off the week of our event - i am afriad if stuff gets broken or misplaced....

I would call them and ask them. Maybe when they told you to drop off the stuff they didn't realize how much stuff you would have (unless they have a separate storage space?). I would think it would be okay if you dropped it off later..

I was told to drop everything off one or two days prior. I'm sure they will make arrangements with you since you have so many boxes. Just make sure they have some place safe to store everything.

We drop our stuff off during our rehersal since we were getting married there. But that was 2 days before!

see i htought it was weird - i am going to call again tomorrow - on the other hand, i want it all out of my apt too! i look like i ma midway through moving almost.....i hate having all those boxes just sitting in the spare rooM!

i brought everything on the thursday and friday before (reception was saturday). They put it in an office and labeled every last item with instructions on where i wanted them, etc. so on saturday it was all perfect the way i wanted it.

We had a lot of boxes also and we dropped it off 3 days before. Word of advice: make sure you have a complete list of what you have given them, as detailed as possible, and keep a copy for yourself. Also, keep a list of EVERYTHING you are taking home because you don't want the maitre d chasing you around at the end of the night asking you that question. And label your boxes with both your names, the wedding date and time, and what is inside the box. Believe me it helps and it's worth the effort.
