Silly RSVP card question

Silly RSVP card question

Do you think it's necessary to add a stamped RSVP card for OOT guests who are clearly coming to the wedding (ie: coming from abroad, have their flights and hotel)? I don't want them to think its ridiculous that I am asking them to RSVP when clearly they are coming...lol.

Oh, and the reason they didn't get the invites prior it's because we decided to do the wedding in 4 months

Personally.. I would just out of formality. But that is totally up to you.

IMO, i would say yes you should put postage.
think of it this way...are you putting postage on your parents and bridal party response cards...you know they will all be attending.
it is also much easier to have actual RSVP cards when you are doing your count and stuff like that....an extra form of double checking yourself.

Send the RSVP card. My MIL thought the same thing and since the stamps won't work from Ireland, she mailed them all back to us accordingly. But the OOT guests didn't KNOW that and they decided to MAKE RSVP cards and send them back to us. What a nightmare. Just leave off the postage though since they'll have to add more anyway.
