Silly Silly Question...

Ok... this is probably going to sound so silly but..... FH and I were wondering how the RH wants us to deliver our things (petal cones, place card holders, favors, table numbers, etc...). I'm worried that if we drop these things off, they can be damaged- the frames and place card holders are breakable. And some of the other things-such as the petal cones are very delicate and can easily be damaged.

We boxed everything up and labeled the box but I was wondering if any of your RH's told you how they want things dropped off. How far in advance do you typically do this? Thanks

I did this about three days before
i labeled everything and dropped it off - no worries they do this stuff ALL the time!

petal cones usually are delivered that morning by the florist or DOC

but the other things--you usually bring to the hall yourself a few days before the wedding. don't worry--RHs do this every wknd! just make sure you lable things with your names and wedding date---i printed out some sheets with big info on them and taped them to boxes and such when we brought all our stuff to the hall......and they put everything exactly where it was supposed to be!

your Banquet Mgr. will go over everything you bring to the hall with you--when you go for your last meeting and payment.

I was thinking of asking our DOC to take care of the petal cones the morning of (she's putting the petals in them for us). But I wasnt sure about the other stuff.

You are all 100% right- they deal with this stuff every weekend and probably know just what to do.

How do they know how we want tables in the lobby set up? Meaning like the card box table, guest book table, piano, place card table, etc.... If wanted candles set up a certain way around each thing or rose petals sprinkled around- do we draw them a diagram? I'm sorry- I probably sound like an idiot but I'm clueless. lol
