Hi girls! Im a little upset.. I finally am going on my photographer hunt and my apt tonight was a wash out. I had an apt with Silver Fox and we had to cancel after I had arrived... which ok is stinky, just bc I really was excited for some info... but I will get over it AND I rescheduled...
So my question is does anyone know of their packages and prices? Just so I dont have to wait until next thurs to find out... pleaseeee

Hey my fav Bride to Be!! I'm sorry it didnt work out so well at the first try. Obv I have no help with photogs on LI, but I can tell you that when you meet the right person and see their work you'll KNOW who you want. I think I had just as much of a connection with our guy and his work as I did the dress, the place, my FIANCE!! Anyway, Love you.. hope you dont mind I crashed your board!!

I don't know what their finished product looks like but my cousin used them and the photographer they had was so rude. He kept yelling at all the guests to get out of the way and the priest stopped in the middle of mass to yell at him to stop taking pictures he got so obnoxious. That was two years ago though, I can't tell you what her pics look like because she still doesn't have an album (but I think it's because she didn't pick them out, I don't know if that's their fault)

I went to see them a few weeks ago and they really dont have packages. You just pretty much tell them what you need and they give you a price. Their pictures were nice, but not worth the price IMO, but their video was amazing!
I do not have the prices for them anymore but if I could guesstimate, video $2,000 1 photographer $1500 addtl photographer $1000 and proofs were about .30 a piece and thats all I really remember.

I heard the same thing. The pics we soso but teh video was great. A friend of mine's cousin used them & was not at all happy with the photo's. But it was like 1 1/2 yrs ago. Sherwood Triart is amazing also pricey though.
They were my third choice. They dont have packages.. they have al la carte ..,. so its all whatevea you need and price is non neog. but the video was amazing!!!! I HAD CHILLS.. BUT pricey

Aly.. i hear you with the feeling... I got the feeling actually with a photographer that I met at the wedding workshop but he is outrageously priced...not that I wont get him BUT I feel the need to shop around still to make sure it is worth it ya know.. and like that I cant settle...i know you know what im talking about

hope you don't mind my intruding . I happened to see this thread and I used Silver Fox so thought I'd give my experience. John the owner and Ted did pics. You never noticed they were there. I think the pics are wonderful, sorry not too many in my album. As to prices, when you add the pic prices and album cost, his price always seems to be lower than any others I checked. He used to include prints of proofs but with prices going up everywhere, he left price the same from 2006 and made prints optional. BUT since he doesn't have to print, he is now taking unlimited photos. even when he printed them all, I got 1000 proofs for a photog and 1/2 day for 2nd. you get proofs on dvd so you can look at them and decide if you eant to print some. And you don't need to order an album to get the dvd of proofs which some companies require - - no album youu may need to pay for the dvd. and yuu can wait to order an album until after the wedding and the prices are frozen from when you sign the orig contract. I don't think this is a bad deal at all. I also got the proofs and prints in about 4 weeks which is not a bad wait. so sorry your appt got messed up and I hope you did go back.
