they gave you prices? Don't ask why but i didn't bother to ask them prices.. i loved their work though.. i also liked that he answered all of my questions.. and i had a bunch of them!

I booked with them back in Dec for my 9-2 wedding. So I can't tell you how great the pictures are . . . yet(hee hee) but John is very nice and they have a lot of good reviews from brides that have used them. I like that with the photography you also get 4x6 proofs and hi res DVD 'negatives' and e-pics (we still have to go for those, eek almost July). Alot of other places make you pay for negatives or base it on how big an album you order. You also do not need to order the album right away but your price is frozen based on when you sign the contract. That I think is nice too - - we signed in Dec but probably won't order til nex Dec - - less money out of pocket that way.
He also has a nice little feature that you can get a 2nd photojournalistic photog for only 4 hrs (rather than full day) for $600. That works out fine for me to get candids at home, church and cocktail hr while formal portraits done and when they are finished the wedding photog can do the candids. At least it sounds good in theory. He also has the graphic people in house doing the albums rather than sending to a 3rd party so I think (and hope) you have moreinterfacing for how you want the album to look. Those are the reasons why we booked with them. Let's hope I was right.

BTW I was at Fortunoff's tonite too, stopped to say hi and was impressed that he remembered me, FH's name and wedding date and RH since I haven't spoken to him since Jan.
