I thought I was going crazy...

I dont think I want pastely colors or dark colors so I think a silvery, platinumy color would be great for my afternoon spring wedding...

Jim Hjelm has a few selections- or theknot... do a bridesmaid search, and you can see. Mostly, any dress can come in that color -

Here are some from Impression Bridal modeled in Platinum. I am using them for my BP, 2 pieces all in Platinum for my daytime wedding. I believe all of their dresses come in Platinum, these are the ones I found actually modeled in the color:

Here is what my mother is wearing for her MOB dress but I think it could easily be converted to a BM dress (I'm assuming that's what you are looking for)

This is the color Im going for!!! YIPPIE. Its kind of a silvery, purply color. Just what I want.

Oh, one more thing, I forgot. Depending on the light, whether you're outside or indoors, the color will look a teeny difft. Outside it looks soooo pretty, almost like a light icy silvery bluish.......
inside it looks a little more rich. I know I'm silly, but I LOVE taking my swatch and going outside then back inside with it.

I ordered the swatch already...

Im hoping to get married outside. If it looks silvery blue it would be PERFECT because my dress is ivory with ice (blue) beading on the top and sides. Oh this is making me SOOOO happy!

satin. I dont know but I figured my dress is satin so why not keep it the same.

I agree, def. keep it the same. I did. My dress is Chiffon, so I got them georgette b/c it looks the same. (except for the Jr BMs, Jr. Hostesses, and FGs - I thougth geogette was too grown for them so I got them satin tops)

BTW, if your BP wants scarves or shawls or any accessories, I know a place in Manhattan where they have the same exact Satin Platinum material if you want to make anything.
It was $8 a yard. I bought some of the satin for my Jr. Hostesses to make them drawstring purses to carry around.
It matches perfectly

BTW, you can see most of their colletion at Wedding Center of Commack and RK Bridal. I also got a sweet deal for the outfits from Netbride.com.'They didn't come in yet.
