So I am most likely have purple gowns and instead of having the BMs buy dyeables which they'll never wear again I was thinking of either choosing a silver shoe, or letting them wear any silver sandal they choose.
My mom says this is totally wrong, BMs MUST have dyed shoes and furthermore, it's summer so they shouldn't wear silver.
Am I way off on this, or is my mom?
Sometimes my mom is really way off on things.

I think it's very nice of you to think of what's more convenient for the girls. I think silver would look nice with purple. I personally am not a huge fan of dyeables, but that JMO.

I am having my girls wear silver too, I am in the spring. The dresses will be navy blue. I think that you have a great idea!

I think that's totally fine - esp because it is the summer, in my opinion? My sister's having navy blue floor length gowns this July and we're all doing gold shoes...

I wore this purple tea length dress @ my sisters September wedding and wore Silver shoes-sorry i couldn't find a long shot of us.
I think silver shoes are fine. I was a BM in 2 weddings and the brides just let us wear whatever shoes we wanted just as long as they were silver. To be honest, I dont even think anybody noticed that we were all wearing different shoes.
