SILVERFOX!

SILVERFOX!

I haven't been on this site since my wedding. But, I was just wondering if anyone who used Silverfox for video and photography is unhappy with them? Why do I ask?

A) The videographer was with us for 9 hours. My UNEDITED video is one hour and 20 minutes. What the heck happend to the other seven hours and 40 min?????? Now, I'm not planning on sitting around watching 7 hours worth of video on a daily basis, however, it would have been nice to see. He missed so much! After the amount of money I paid, I expected more. Silverfox's response to this? 'That's just the way our video's are'

B) I gave them a lengthy list of specific pictures I wanted taken throughout the day. Now, granted, I have about 1000 pictures, and they are beautiful, however, I'm missing a lot of important pictures of important people that I requested. For example, my husband's grandfather is not in one single picture!!! At first I thought I was being petty, but, i paid for a service, I expect it to be good and I expect it to be what I asked for....

So, I was just wondering if anybody else experienced this with Silverfox.

I'm a bit confused. . . .you posted your review on May 7th and said that you got your proofs back already, gave them an A in your review and now, 7 1/2 months later you are complaining about your proofs? If you didn't have a problem with them then, why do you now. I understand they didn't get your DH's grandfather, but you yourself said that you gave them 'a lengthy list'. Was there a LOT of other ones missing off your list?

As for your video, if the unedited is that short, then you are ABSOLUTLY correct in being upset. I just can't see 9 hours turning into 1h40min for unedited.

If the DVD stopped working, call them and tell them. It might have been the actual disk that was bad, not Silverfox's fault.

Did you speak to John the owner. I honestly can't see him reacting in such a way to all of this. What about your albums? Are they okay?

Sorry about your experience. I'm using Silverfox for pictures, and I'm really looking forward to this vendor. I love the way our E-pics came out. Our photographer, Franco, was really open to anything we wanted to do. He took his time with us, and we got amazing shots. Of course everyone's experience is different.

I had the same experience with Franco for our E-pics (which I have to post) He was GREAT during the entire shoot and got some WONDERFUL shots despite the weather not cooperating that day.

I just hope that good experiences don't go downhill from here. I don't think they will with Franco, but I don't know who our videographer is yet. I have to find that out.

Like I said, I think the last time I even came on this webstie was when I wrote my review which was a month after my wedding and I was just so excited about getting my proofs back. In going through them since then, I noteiced a lot of picures missing. I just updated my review.
My biggest issue is the video. There is just no reasonable explanationg for 9 hours turning into one. It's absurd. I just wanted to mention it so people are aware of stuff like this as they're planning.

PS...i did love Franco too. I am not saying that they did a horrible job. There are just some things that weren't done as they should have been. And when you're spending thousands of dollars, I don't think forgetting imporatnt pictures and 8 hours of a day are acceptable.
