Trying to book a photog within my budget. My friend thinks Silverfox is, but I was wondering if anyone had a quote they can give me before I make an appointment since they are a bit away from where I live. I made an appt w Lighthouse this afternoon and while they do have gorgeous pics, they were nowhere in my budget. I felt Patken was very reasonable so I'm looking for something in that price range to compare. Any recomm or quotes that can be shared would be super helpful. TIA!!

When FH & I were looking (which was only a few weeks ago) Patken and Lighthouse were about the same price. What's your budget for photos?

Patken was half of what Lighthouse quoted and Lighthouse didn't come close to giving me the same options!
I would like to try to keep it under 4, if possible w and engagement session, STDs, 3 parent albums & portraits, of course our album, lo & hi res images, and TU's. I think that's pretty much Patken's package.

Wow .. it seems like we got very different quotes from Patken! Lighthouse didn't give all of that in their cheapest package, I think the only things missing were the parent albums, STDs, & TYs. The engagement session would've been $250 (I THINK). But we are doing all the other stuff ourselves to keep prices down.

Lighthouse's most expensive package was comparable to the quote I received from Patken. I need albums and would like the engagement shoot to be included. Lighthouse does charge $250 extra for that...

Lighthouse was a lot more than patken! I went with Patken. I loved there work and it was more reasonable priced I felt.

I met with Silverfox and I thought they were crazy overpriced. For exactly what I am getting with LIghouthouse they were actually almost 2,000 more! That was with albums, proofs, prints, video, etc. Silverfox had beautiful photos though - had they been willing to come down we probably would have went with them.

Thanks. Lighthouse contacted me after seeing my post on here but they are still $1000 over Patken without matching their package and they told me that they don't negotiate on pricing. If Silverfox is more than Lighthouse then I won't bother. I will try Gina Esposito, thank you.
Ken Hild also contacted me while we were out to dinner, he left a voicemail to call him back. Does anyone have pricing on him?
