simple question..i hope

Ok ladies , Well i recently had my bridal shower this past Sunday. My cousin was the one who found the place and basiclaly put it all together my fsil got the decorations and games and my fmil bought the favors.....my cousin put up the money as well as my sister and fh they spilt the bill between the three of them. I have one other bridesmaid who wasnt able to attend the shower because i brought her into the party late and she alreayd had a cruise planned for her family at that time.
My question is i know i write an extra something in there thank you cards but should i buy them a little something sma,ll little thank you trinket i found this cute little crystal umbrells keepsake thing with a thank you for my shower tag..do you think that is cheesy . My fh said not to buy any gifts just write a note they threw a party and he chiped in ...but he wasnt the only one laying money out?

PLease give me some advice on what you ladies did or will be doing in this situation.
