Ok, I know that as a bride we are suppose to buy all our bridesmaid presents. Here is my question..when it comes to buying parents gifts..for me..do I have to buy my FH's parents presents too..or does he do that and I just buy my parents gifts? I just want to make sure I get this right. My second question is...that I dont know what to get my FH as a present... What is everyone else giving to their husband?

We aren't exchanging gifts for the wedding. But what about buying him a nice watch or cufflinks? I think something he can wear the day of your wedding is nice.

Yea I was thinking about cufflinks...he is a veterinary technician so I was thinking like doggy cufflinks(if they exsist) or regular engraved cufflinks

well ALL the gifts are supposed to be from the both of you together
so no matter who it is for its supposed to be FROM both of you!

as far as what i'm getting fh. he's a cigar lover, so i'm investigating getting a cigar roller as a surprise. if that doesn't come together... he LOVES the move 'a christmas story' , i'll get him the 'leg lamp'.
i know it's crazy, but that's the kind of wacky people we are

FH and I are both buying our parents gifts together....we're not doing 'I get mine, he gets his' ..... we're picking out gifts together but our parents are not getting the same thing...
FH and I haven't really talked about exchanging gifts with each other. With the money we're spending on the wedding, I think we're going to pass on this though.... Too $$$

Good ideas everyone! See here is my situation. I plan on buying my father an engraved frame which on one side holds a pic of me when I was young and has my birthdate engraved and on the other side a pic of me at my wedding with my wedding date engraved and on the top it will say 'Daddys girl forever' or something similiar to that...and for my mom, well I want to get her something personal...just from me...but the thing is that I dont know if my FH is getting his parents anything..so I dont want to give my parents gifts and then they dont receive anything. Unless of course I give them their presents in private..ah I don tknow hehe
