Anyone out there hire/have a simple DJ with no fanfare, lights, give aways and had a good experience. I am looking for a great DJ who'll play music I want from my own CD's if necessary with friendly non-obnoxious style of getting people to dance. ANy suggestions.

Our wedding is Sunday at the Port Jeff Country Club. We interviewed over a dozen DJs before we chose Sounds Unlimited. Al - the owner - was the ONLY person who didn't tell me 'I've been in this business for XX years and I know what people want'. I'm sorry but it's my wedding, not my sweet 16. We insisted on no leis, blowup guitars, straw hats, etc. We were also very specific on what participation dances we did not want as well as the 'DO NOT PLAY' list. Al & John have been wonderful and agreed to tailor the day to our style. If you need more info, let me know. Good luck!
