FH is a HUGE Simpsons fan. I thought it would be cool to have a Simpson cake topper. The only one I have seen was on ebay it was real tacky looking. Do you think they could make or have you seen a nice Simpsons cake topper?

I am making a Star Wars cake topper. I bought the figures on ebay and bought a small wood plaque that I am going to paint white, and trim with lace. I may make an arch for it too, not sure yet. It's still a work in progress.
I'd look for Simpsons figures and make it yourself. Do you like ceramics? I wonder if you'd be able to find figures at a studio and paint them yourself. I think that would look great.

My friend wanted to do the same thing. She didn't like the one available and I believe she said it wasn't authentic and people made them themselves. I think what she did was bought the marge and homer figures (I think they were supposed to be going to the prom) and she painted the gown white. I'll find out exactly what she did and let you know.

www.whoopassenterprises.com has custom made cake toppers. they usually do b+g, but i'm sure they could do characters!

I was looking for this when I was getting married because my DH is a huge fan too. I did a search on google and found ONE place that did them, but they were so back ordered. Try doing a search. I was at the point where I was going to make it myself, but we ended up not doing it..ran out of time!!

I am making a bride and groom Simpsons. Not for the cake topper but for the guest book table. You can buy the prom night Homer and Marge, or the Sundays best figures, paint and decorate them yourself. There are a lot of tacky ones on ebay but sometimes you come across nice more expensive ones too. Good luck!

I did it!! I am a HUGE Simpsons fan. So I bought the prom figurines off of Ebay and someone who is more artistic than I am painted them for me. They came out awesome!! I don't have a scanner, or I would post a pic for you. I didn't put them on top of the cake, but they were on the cake table next to the cake.
