It's time to write my goodbye!!!!

I really can't believe it's MY time. It feels like I've been waiting forever for this day to come, and all week, all last week, even when I imagine myself IN THE MOMENT, in my dress, walking down the aisle, greeting guests -- I feel like that moment will be months from now, not days.

Thanks to all the lovely ladies on this site (and to Ron and Liz for having it!!!), I know my wedding will be beautiful. I've learned a lot - about the things I wanted to do on my wedding day, things I didn't want to do, and about the kind of bride I wanted to be.

I've made excellent friends here - a few I have met and a lot I haven't! I hope to have the chance to meet all those I clicked with in a special way -maybe at the 08 newlywed GTG I said I was going to plan for January!

This past week has been a little crazier than I expected due to my grandmother's death - I never expected to be attending a wake tonight, let alone a funeral tomorrow But I know it was the best thing for her. She had diabetes, heart problems and dementia and her time had come.

Thanks to allll of you who offered your prayers and thoughts for me and my family. The gesture will not be forgotten any time soon. I haven't had much of a chance to talk to my real-life friends about this even, but you girls are always here and always listening.

On that note ........

I AM GETTING MARRIED THIS WEEKEND!!!!!

OMG Jenn I haven't been on so I didn't know about your grandmother. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be there in spirit for your wedding though. I know you will have a wonderful day. I am praying for great weather for us! I know you will have a great time at fox hollow as will I. I am so glad to have met you on here, I think it is great that you are getting married in the same room as me on the same day! I will be thinking of you as I'm getting my hair and make up done!!!! Have a great time and hopefully we can meet up at some point and if we can't then that is ok too. I know we will both be very busy! Good luck with everything though!!!!

Jenn, I hope your day is perfect...I haven't been on much, so I 'm sorry I didn't know about your Gram...I'm so sorry!!!!! She'll definitely be there in spirit...I'm counting on my Aunt being with me as well.

I know it will be hard, but remember your grandmother will be there at your wedding and she will have the best seat in the house.... right by your side!!!

Enjoy every minute of your wedding and make sure you and your now DH take a step back and soak it all in... everyone is there for you two!!!

Thanks girls. I just got back from my RD and am headng to bed ... had a migraine tonight but it got better as the night wore on. I have a massage tomorrow at 10 .. cannot WAIT for that, wish it was a 2 hour one! .. and then nails / toes at 4. Have some packing and cleaning to do in between, but over all I think it will be a pretty calm day. Oh, I need to drop my OOT bags off at the hotel and FH's brother is sleeping on the couch, which is kinda annoying because I expected to have the morning / day to myself, but oh well.
