Well we live in an apartment but you already know that. We figured we'd buy decent stuff and trade up eventually. Since we'll probably buy this house and just reconvert it into a one family again, I think our couch would stay where it is and we'd get new furniture for the downstairs living room. As for our dining room set, its nice for now but I think after the whole house is fixed exactly how I want it to be then I'll get a new more expensive set.
Well you know my plan is to stay where I am for the sake of Taylor staying in the school he is in now til he graduates. So I was thinking do I get ok stuff and then later get better or do I splurge now and not spend more in the long run?
If we end up with an apartment, we'll probably do a mix of both...definitely a nice bed set, and a nice couch, but maybe more disposable type shelving units. It really depends...FH isn't one to NOT buy nice things, but I don't see the practicality of it if we're going to be in a small space and banging things around in a move within a year or so.
