Since I've been drama free lately...

...drama reared its ugly head at me! My cousin's wife stays home ALL the time with their two little girls. She has no help from my cousin and really does not have much of a social life. She was supposed to come to my bachelorette party on Saturday...it'd be only the second time she had gone out alone since they moved here in September. I was really excited to have her there and she was really excited to go out...BUT OF COURSE, my cousin decided that he was going to cover for another doctor this weekend....so now he's on call and she can't go out in case he gets called in.

As if this wasn't bad enough...one of my BM's has bad anxiety and can't take the train by herself so my cousin's wife was gonna drive her in and drive her home...so now I have to figure out another way for her to get in or she can't come...and I don't think there's another way.

I could punch my cousin in the face right now (and I'm sure there were other doctors that could have covered, but my cousin is selfish and doesn't think of anything or anyone but himself).

i will beat your cousin down for you, boo.

Can she maybe take a car service to the house of another girl who's commuting in on the train? And then following the party, crash at that girl's house?

She has to work until 6:30pm on Saturday (the party technically starts at 7) and she has to leave after Lucky Chengs because she has work the next day (she's a hairstylist)...I'm trying to figure out any way that she can come. Right now I'm hoping that she's alright with taking a car service home (my mom said she will drive her in)...I'm really ready to do almost anything for her to be there, she's my BM for goodness sake and I've known her for 20 years...she deserves to be there!

Unfortunately she's a little crazy about who she trusts with her kids...so far the only babysitters she's had are me and my mom and we're both going to the party. We've been trying to get her an au pair but they just bought a house and are in the process of moving...I dunno. There's blame on all sides but it still *****.

how old are the kids that shes like this?? theres def fault on her end, for sure.

i wouldnt stress about it too much since she does HAVE OPTIONS.

They are young...1 1/2 and almost 3...the 1 1/2 year old is definitely a handful. I understand her concerns, but we only just started telling her we wouldn't babysit for her anymore and she had to find something else. guess we should have done it sooner. Bleh.
