Since the board is sooo quiet today ...

Lets talk babies!

Do you girls want to have kids right away after the wedding (HM baby?) or do you want to wait??

How many do you want to have?

Do you want boys/girls/mix of both?

I'll start..

As of now I want to wait about a year after getting married before kids.. I think I want to enjoy being married for a bit

I'd like to have 2 kiddies.. and a puppy lol

and I'd like a boy first then a girl

i have huge baby fever! i want one NOW!

but alas I am fighting w stupid FH today so I dont want one from HIM! lol

Can I play too? I'm already a mommy !

So, I have my daughter (not with FH) but he's her dad, and she'll be 11 in November. FH and I had a son , he's 18 months.

Would we like another? Absolutely!!!

But they're soo cute and fun! Our son entertains us with daily by throwing things out of his crib, tearing up my Brides mags, pulling down half full cups of water or other drinks from the dresser, putting things in his toy box so you can't find it, like house keys! Oh, and for extra fun, he takes off his pamper after a number 2...

Tell FH to wait...enjoy being married with just the two of you for awhile, then think about the above!

I just tell him think of how annoying my nephew is! hahaha (he's 7 I love him to pieces but he never shuts up!!)

UGHH I dunno...

I'm an only child, I've never babysat and I'm forever convinced children don't like me and that I wouldn't be a good mom. Jaret totally wants kids and sometimes feels the need to remind me, like, hey honey you know I want kids right... and I'm like yes I know, we will.

I feel like I'm too selfish right now, I love moving around and not being tied down, having a kid will shoot that.

I'm thinking maybe 2 years after we get married sooo like 4 years from now... I'll be 29, FH will be 32 and he doesn't want to wait anymore than that... to be honest though, I've been looking on thebump a lot lately... as if tomorrow if he was like wanna have one now? I'd be like ok!

I feel the same way with the selfishness.. I dont move around but I love that we can just pick up last minute and take a vacation and do as we please I think 29 is the perfect age! If I wait a year after we're married ill be about 28 (i'll turn 27 a month after our wedding) and FH will be about 35

So here's our plan....

FH will be 32 when we get married and doesnt want to be too old to have kids...

BUT I dont want to be a fat bride so we're not having one anytime soon & we live in a one bedroom apartment so we have no room anyway.

Sooooooo we get married May 2012, have a honeymoon baby & our lease is up 5 months after that & then we get a house & I'll have the baby when we're living there

You really have it all planned!!!!! It will work out great too

FH has a little being an old dad complex going on lately lol he'll be 33 when we get married

Ahh! People keep telling me that we should wait and just enjoy being married, but we have been together 6 years and have been living together for 5 so I don't think that I want to wait that long! I always wanted to be a 'young' mom and I already have to wait another year and a half to get married... so I doubt we will wait that long. Haha I am not about to have one now but I definitely see that in our near 'post wedding' future! Although according to FH we are never having kids. Oh well!

...except FH will be 31 and we prob won't have enough $$ for a house, but we will move into a 2 bedroom

Hopefully a March 2012 HM baby (we want a boy first)... but we will be happy with a healthy baby either way
