Since there is alot of talk about tips....

CLM has a mandatory 'Maitre'd Fee' of $300...but I was told that it is actually split up among the chef, wait staff, Maitre'd, etc. How much additional should I tip if I am already paying $300 but no clue who gets what of that $300??

i am having a similar issue. my contract includes a MatriD Tip. however mine is only for the MatriD & comes out to $4 per person.

prior to reviewing my contract & seeing that my friends told me you are suppose to tip the MatriD $3-$5 per person.

i agree with rita, definitely a few hundred more (depending on service) bc each waiter should get around $50/each and then the Maitre'd should end up with a few hundred.

Wait a sec.. if I tip 4.00 per person that's 500.00... and that goes to the waitstaff and the Maitre D'... I should be tipping waiters ON TOP OF THAT?! For serious?
