Is it wrong to not have a limo to bring the parents to the RH from the church??
FH's parents do not think it's neccessary (they are paying for limos) and my parents said it didn't matter to them, they might actually prefer to drive themselves (I'm not sure if I actually belive this though....)

I don't think it's wrong at all.
I was actually thinking about this yesterday. If my mom, FMIL, my 2 aunts and my uncle and his aunt ride in a limo to the RH from the church... how is anyone going to get home or to the hotel from there???

my parents were unsure and back and forth on it....but FH and I knew we wanted it for them....so my mom is going to come with me and my dad and a limo will go pick FH's parents....then that limo that picked up FH's parents will take my parents (maybe grandma too) to the RH....then at the end of the night they are sending over a car to take them to thier homes...
this did add a little bit to the limo bill but we wanted them to not worry...

nope, my dad wants his car because he wants to go home at the end of the night.
Fh's parents can't use the limo cuz his dad is legally blind and very uncomfortable with cars he doesn't know. FMIL will drive them there and then FSIL will drive them all home at the end of the night...
We offered limos, but they didn't feel we should spend our money on it

My parents don't want a limo, I think they prefer driving themselves. To be honest, the thought never crossed their mind!

My dad said it would be a PITA to drop off a car the night before to Crest Hollow, and it would be nice for him and my mom to have a few minutes alone after the ceremony and before the reception to just chill...
FH is concerned that his parents may bring dates (they are recently separated) and not feel comfortable in one limo...
It seems like not having one would work for us...

i dont think u HAVE to have the limo take ur parents to the RH. my parents dont mind. My mom says she wants to drive to the RH from the church w/ her and my dad...
