I was just curious if anyone hired, or is hiring, a singer to come in & sing during dinner. I am having a DJ at my wedding but also wanted a live singer to perform during dinner. I am looking for a singer to sing some Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Armstrong, etc. type songs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Did you check with your DJ? I know a few of the DJ's have singers that you can pay extra for

Re: Singer Wanted!
Check out Tommys Tunes. They have an awesome singer, Gene. He does Frank Sinatra and I think Louis Armstrong. We were considering it but we decided against it.

I think his name is Gene Santini. He is unbelievable. I first heard him at a 50th birthday at Brooklyn and took his card cause he was so good. Recently my friend was looking at djs and we saw the same guy with Tommy Tunes. I wrote down his name and then checked my card when I got home. He must work part time with Tommy Tunes or something. Everyone loved him. Sang a great variety and was good!

Re: Singer Wanted!
yes yes yes... my dj does singing also.. in those styles. His voice is a dead ringer for everyone he sings. He also brings a female singer with him. She is new so I haven't heard her voice yet, but he raves about her.

Gene is fabulous!!! I hired him through Tommy's Tunes. He does Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Louis Armstrong. As soon as FH and I heard him, we booked on the spot!
