My MOH and her husband have beautiful voices. We call them our 'love mentors' (I know very corny) but they are one of the happiest couples we know and they remind us everyday how much it means to have love. With that being said I wanted them to sing at our wedding. Do you think I should do it during the cake cutting or at another time??
TIA

I asked my mom's cousin to sing a song during the ceremony; maybe you might want to do that?
I think if you ask them to sing during your cake cutting, it might take the attention away from you and you hubby. Maybe ask them to sing a song to you and your hubby during the reception when you two are sitting at your table.

Re: Singing
I was thinking about something like this...my Aunt is a professional singer and I really want her to sing something at the wedding...I was considering having her sing The Wedding Song by Peter, Paul and Mary during the ceremony. Maybe they could sing that?

When they got married we danced to 'I'll cover you' from Rent and 'lucky' by jason mraz so we were thinking of them singing one of those things because they have so much meaning. I am just so nervous about being sung to if that makes sense.

Re: Singing
I've sang at a lot of family members weddings... always during the ceremony... never at the reception

Re: Singing
Maybe ask them to sing at the ceremony.. I think it will be more meaningful then. My sister had one of her BMs and the BM's hubby sing at her ceremony.. it was gorgeous!

I wouldn't do it during the cake cutting; I feel like there will be too much going on then for either you or her to get the attention you deserve!
