Single Moms...

For those of you that have had children already....are you putting them in the wedding and what role are they playing?
I was young, never married, when I had my 12 yr old son. He will be 14 -15 when I walk down the isle, so since my father has passed, I was going to have him walk me down the isle. :My baby
Just wondering what everyone else was doing.

i absolutely LOVE that idea... but im not so sure everyone else would, because technically its supposed to be a symbol of 'giving you away', but really it would be bringing you guys closer together.... i dont care what anyone has to say.... i think its a great idea.

Thanks... I was going to have my momor bothof them but, she doesn't want attention drawn to her anymore then she needs,lol.

i think thats a great idea!

I've heard of people doing a special candle to symbolize coming together as a family also.

Like i mentioned on BHB i am also having my son walk me down the isle ... it was me and my baby for a long time and after my dad passed I couldnt think of anyone i would want to 'give me away' then my son because its actually like he is excepting nick to marry his mommy!! (ok here you go I can share my mommy with you!)
