Singleton's Review
I promised Jackie an update, but thought everyone might want to hear it.
My best friend's bridal shower was last night at HR Singleton's in Bethpage. Overall, it was a big hit. We did it from 6pm-10pm which people seemed to like b/c it was a bit different.
We selected the cocktail hour menu. Appetizers were passed for the 1st 1 1/2 hours. They were really good and passed very frequently.
Food consisted of a carving station, 4 hot dishes, salad, 2 pastas, cheese platter and a fruit platter. The food was really good, as well.
Only complaints...
- every drink was served in a water goblet. When you are marketing it as a cocktail party...I think martinis should be served in martini glasses, wine served in a wine glass etc.
- The bartender was M*I*A* a few times which annoyed us.
Overall everything was really good...and I think if you address the above issues in advance, they could easily be resolved.
