No, but going!

Most of our honeymoon will be on Anguilla...but we'll be spending a couple of days on St. Martin first. Are you staying on the French or Dutch side? Where??

Have you been to caribbean-on-line.com or ttol.no-ip.org? Great resources!

Re: No, but going!

Went to Divi Resort in St. Maarten. ( Dutch side) go to diviresorts.com and find 'Divi Little Bay Resort' in St. Maarten. It is breathtaking. We had the time of our life there, and thinking about returning for our Honeymoon.

Diamondgirly,

I am glad to hear you enjoyed your trip to SXM. We are staying on the French side (Anse Marcel), but plan on renting a car and seeing the Dutch side too. Is there anything that you'd recommend as a must do?? Any favorite beaches?? Did you rent a car and explore?

I'd love to hear all about it!!

Re: Diamondgirly,

You made the right choice. The French side, in my opinion is much more lively. There are casinos, restaurants, little shops...it is a lot more fun then the Dutch side. Yes, we rented a car and went to the french side for nightlife, dining, etc... The Dutch side is more beachy and laid back, the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. On the dutch side we went scuba diving, horseback riding, and sailed on a glass-bottom boat. We found out all there is to do by searching on the web. Good Luck and enjoy, your going to have an awesome and romantic time!
