sinus headaches...

5 monhts straight of living with this... and the dr's and allergist s uck.
Going to acupuncture tomorrow... fingers crossed.

are you sure they're sinus headaches and not migraines? because i thought i had sinus headaches for 5 years and turned out they weren't...

wow... i thought i was pretty sure, most of the time i can't even touch my eyebrows or nose cause they are so tender when i have them. Does that happen with migraines?

Same thing here. I've been having headaches since December. It feels like someone took a sledge hammer to my head. Turns out I have what's called cluster headaches. 1% of the population has them and they have me on all different kinds of medication and shots and now oxygen to help. Did you see a neurologist? Maybe get a couple opinions. They have special doctors for just headaches.

reg dr told me it was allergies and sent me to an allegist who said its cause i am highly allergic to dust (which i knew since i was 12 so strange who suddenly is causing such bad reactions). They gave me all these nasal sprays and it only helps for a couple hours at a time.

yea... i've done a lot of research on this and many believe that there are no such things as sinus headaches, you should try going the migraine route and seeing a neurologist, you don't have much to lose

Did you do the allergy blood testing? That will tell you for sure. If I were you I'd make an appointment with an ENT and have them examine you and decide if you need imaging of your sinuses.

you should definitely go to an ENT, they will send you for a catscan and tell you immediately if its allegries. i had the same problem and everyone just told me it was allegries. finally i took it upon myself to go to an ENT and sure enough, i had some serious sinus problems that required surgery.
