i had it done last monday. i had no bruising but swelling. the first two days i just relaxed and rested. i wasn't in terrible pain, it was medium...i think i was more uncomfortable if anything. by thursday i was starting to feel pretty good and after the weekend i pretty much feel like myself. i'm stuffy but everyday it gets better and better. the worst part is the packing...its dissolves eventually but that is what makes you uncomfortable.

like christine said the pains not too bad it more uncomfortable than anything, my doctor does not use packing (ive had packing before and it su cks!!!). I can definitely breath soooooo much better, my doctor said that everyday it will improve until all the swelling is down and everything is healed

I had it done twice. The first time I was 12 and the second I was 19. The first few days you have swelling, some people get bruising but I didnt have any. The first day/ night I had packaging in my nose which was not fun. The took it out the next morning after surgery. The second surgery I had they put in tubes through my sinuses to help open up the passage ways. I had keep them in two weeks and wasnt allowed to sneeze (I had to hold them in) or blow my nose. I had to have the tubes put in since my sinuses are pretty bad and they needed to be left open. Overall I am soo much better now that I had the surgery. Good luck! Any questions, feel free to ask.
