So lucky me, FH's birthday is exactly a month after Christmas. I want to get his satellite radio, but which one is better? I know the stations are better with Sirius, but I've heard that quality of XM is better.
Any feedback???

FH and I love XM and we buy it for everyone LOL
but we are also huge opie and anthony fans. . . so that helps
to me, the quality is excellent but honestly i never listened to sirius
good luck!
PS - XM has a receiver that has an MP3 player too - thats what i got FH for christmas shhhhh. . .he he he

best buy ...they have some different ones so look around or make sure you ask ...i think most stores have the same deal going on

FH got me Sirius last year for my bday and I got him a new XM car radio for his bday - we are so original! We love both of them - I love Sirius! But his car radio is so cool - when nothing is on we just turn on the XM and the stations are great! And it has a remote too and was easy to install. It basically hooks to the ac vent and sits nicely!
Either way I think you win - I guess the only difference would be the talk show preferences - neither of us have preference so in our case it didn't matter. HTH

Alright, I did it! I ordered Sirius! It was such a tough decision because FH loves college football and he loves baseball and Sirius has the football and XM has the baseball... I think he'll like it either way. Thanks for all of your help!

FH read something the other day that said there is a chance the 2 might be merging, so soon we might have the best of both worlds!
(For the record, I have XM but I have never compared the 2 so I can't tell you if one's quality is better than the other's.)

XM subscriber for two years now... LOVE IT!!! Plus i am a Opie and anthony fan so i am biased. I dig the channels .. listen to my XMLM metal station, Fungus XL punk, 80's, Squiz, Ethel stations. Then they have NHL!!! Listen to stats and game info.
That and you get it free online to listen to it anywhere on your computers. I think sirius still charges you to do that.. unless its just their premium channels.
