My father just passed about a year ago and my younger brother is now walking me down the aisle.. We were not the closest sibling in the world growing up (7 years age difference)..
Everyone wants me to dance with my brother in the wedding.. Instead of the father/daughter dance.. I'm torn because we are not the closest and I have no ideas on the song to play..
Any suggestions...

Re: Sister/Brother Dance
I am sorry for your loss. I lost both of my parents, 18 years ago. My older brother and I are not that close, I even contemplated walking down alone. I am dancing w/my brother to 'The Times of Your Life' by Paul Anka. That song seemed not that mushy.

You may want to dance to a song that reminds you both of your father. A tribute to him from you and your brother. That would be swet.

I am also walking down the aisle with my brothers (two) and will be dancing 1/2 a dance with each, having a hard time which songs to use. Probably one will be a Billy joel Song and the other will be?

That is exactly what I am doing. My father loved Kenny Rogers, so my brother and I are dancing to Through the Years.
