Me and FH are driving down to DC for dinner then after dinner we are going to west virginia to visit our friends. The belt was clear, the verazzano was clear as well, but we are now on the NJ turnpike and its horrendous!!!!!!!
anyone else in traffic!!!!

ugh it stinks, i am on the laptop computer.
We have the tomtom navigation but this is the only way to get to DC. We also have Sirius so that is something else to keep me entertained!!!
I just feel bad for FH he is driving cause he wont let me drive cause he hates my driving.
the turnpike is literally like a sea of cars

that's awful But it makes me so glad, we're going to Fire island, on FIL's boat, (there's never water traffic) it should clear up soon, & look @ the bright side you made it out of the city before rush hour

it cleared up alot we are going over 70mph now wooohoooo 150 miles til our destination
charlie palmer steaks in washington DC

BTW - I can completely sympathize with your traffic problems. Sometimes I can get from DC to LI in 5 hours and other times it has taken 8 hours.

i didnt even drive that far and OMG traffic is horrible, i went from one part of queens to another part of queens lol, we got off and took it locally, and this was in both directions...right where i get off it splits and a few exits away is LI and its insane
