Tell me why I should get it?? And then how much are the the different shapes. I really wna tto get more into scrapbooking, and not sure if i need this. Or should I but the premade alphabet pads for now, that i see at Michael's.

it depends on how much you use die cuts in your layouts. I would say...if you are just starting out...this is not necessary. If you want, buy some precut die shapes and alphabets at Michales and see how often you use them on your pages. I have the machine and 2 sets of letters and a few dies. I use them often but not in every layout.
If you want to buy the die shape that you like and you are more than welcome to come over and use my machine. I cant see you spending $60-$90 (Im not sure how much it is now) on something that you might not like. A die is usally less than $12 and with the 40% off....even better!!

I just got one although I can't use it since it's a christmas gift. It was 79.99 less the 40% coupon. I see them regularly on Ebay in the same price range but shipping would be expensive since it's pretty heavy.
I am still not 100% convinced I really need this, but I figure it's a gift and we'll see
I think I will end up using this more for embellishing then titles although I am trying to decide if I should ask for an alphabet from Santa also.
