I went dress shopping today and this girl tried on the same dress as me but she is a size 4 and mine was a 10 or 12 i was like um no i hate this dress but I really liked it until I saw it on her
I feel so big what sizes are all you girls on here???

You cant let other people effect how you feel about yourself. Im sure that you looked just as amazing in it as she did. You need to find a dress that you feel amazing in!

Thanks I am just nervous my wedding is 7mths away havent picked the dress yet well i cant seem to find the one i wanna lose a few lbs ugh just want everything to be done on time do you have your dress?

I was a size 12 when I bought my gown. Now I am a 10. It was very hard trying on dresses. I never fit into them. They always had to use those clips!! I never let it bother me. I just worried about what looked good on me not everyone else:)

Don't forget too, dress sizes are diff than your reg size.

i just wanted to start by saying the dress sizes are completely bogus. i wanted to suggest going to a bridal salon where you are the only one there. that way you dont have to look at anyone else and you could have the undivided attention, etc. i felt so special and totally like a princess going where there was NO other bride other than me being helped. i had FULL reign of all of the dresses. it was terrrific. i loved having all of the personal attention. and another thing i just wanted to add was that most salons carry only size 10 in samples - which are really a size 6 in normal sizes. good luck and get going!!!

My sister ordered her dress for her wedding and then lost 30lbs. They can alter it, you just have to tell them that you plan on losing some weight and they will help with the sizing. Go with the dress that you love-forget the size-you always have to order bigger.

wedding dresses run small so the sizes are totally different!! please don't let another bride stop you from getting the dress you like

Dress sizes suck! I am 3 sizes bigger in ALL wedding dresses then my everyday size and one store the dress is a plus size dress, lowest size is 16 but I love it, so if I go with that one, I will buy the 16 and see how much they can alter it..I have a large chest so evern when I was a size 8 ( as MOH in my aunts wedding) , I had to buy a 16 dress and have it taken in due to the measuements going by your largest one ( as in chest, waist , hips)...Look at the dress on, and who cares about the size, and DONT think about what anyone else looks like!
